FINALLY

Dear J.K Rowling,

I can now quit you. Happily.

Love,
Timmy.

That being said, spoiler-post~

  • Definitely better than the last book.
  • YAY for Goblin politics and culture!
  • TWINS. [sob] FRED [double sob]
  • I was REALLY hoping Ginny would die.
  • I love Luna.
  • Draco's role felt too minute. I wish there was more exploration about how he felt and how his parents were [maybe I'll fic it later]
  • Potterkids - next generation! :D
  • ...I've actually read the story of the "Deathly Hallows" before. O__O
  • So, all the Marauders are dead. WHUT WHY.
  • RON. I LOVE RON.
  • The only good canon pairing that came out of this whole mess was Ron/Hermione. :D
  • I liked that Dumbledore's past was shown. I also want to write more about Grindelwald and Dumbledore's relationship(friendship?) more.
  • The AS/S ship is a load of CROCK.
  • Mad-Eye Moody! [another sob] DOBBY [sob]
  • And seriously, she killed off Colin Creevey, WHY.
  • SNAPE. I wanted to cry in that chapter. I-I felt for the man for the first time in the books. OH SNAPE.

Other than that, I'm just glad it's over.

Also, best Harry Potter Video ever -

Eh, you've read the story before? How?

And I totally agree with you on Draco. He was totally a wimp in the last 2 books. And to think Rowling had portrayed him as Harry's biggest enemy in school earlier in the series.

And no love for not enough Luna in book 7. We don't even get to know what happened to her in the end!
I'm pretty sure the story of the Deathly Hallows is an old folktale. I've definitely heard the "three-brothers-meet-Death" somewhere.

Actually, Draco was always a wimp. I can list from all the books where he displays his wimpiness. In the first book, he runs away from the Forbidden Forest. Harry's biggest enemy was Voldemort, not Draco in any way. I just wanted more lines and character development for him.

I love Luna and Harry/Luna is one of the few ships I can tolerate in the HP fandom because their interactions are just so brilliant and fun.
Ooooh. You mean that. I thought you said you'd read the whole Harry Potter book 7 before and I was like, "Huh?" XDDD But yeah, I've heard the story of the three brothers before too. Can't remember where though.

Draco's wimpiness didn't fully expose itself until book 6, I think. Before that, he was just a wimp. Now, he's a wimp, leveled up. :P And he used to be Harry's biggest enemy in school. Somehow, despite his wimpiness, he did give Harry problems. And now he's just... so sad. I was hoping there'd be something more to him, actually.

Hee hee... I was hoping Harry would end up with Luna, actually! Book 6 just squashed all my hopes for that, though. And now we don't even know what happens to Luna in the end. Sigh...
Even then, Draco's enemy status can be debated. While Draco was an annoyance, the one who was suspected of everything was Snape. Harry knew Snape hated him, accused him of everything in the books. I like Draco though.

YES WHAT HAPPENED TO LUNA. S-Sigh.
Harry had many enemies, but they're not all enemy-bad-guy-enemy type. I think Draco's enemy status was more of bad-classmate-cum-rival, and through him, Harry's school life was portrayed as a typical guy in school who has his share of adolescence problems. Through other enemies like Snape and Voldemort, we get a different view of Harry's life. Through Snape, Harry was the student who had problems with a teacher and also the hated son of another man. Through Voldemort, Harry was the boy who lived.

I'm quite neutral towards Draco, actually, but I do wish we had gotten to see more of his personality being developed.

AND POOR LUNA. WE DON'T EVEN GET TO KNOW WHERE SHE WENT.
GOBLIN FIC WAAAAAANT

t-twins augh

CREEVEY ohgod that hurt a bit

and AS/S AHAHHAHAHA JOIN USSS
I SHALL FIC. I love ficcing on ancient histories and what not. FUN.

THAT WAS HORRIBLE (but someone wrote a fic where Fred came back as a poltergeist. WIN)

...T____T

YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING. NO MATTER HOW TEMPTING AND CUTE IT SEEMS, I LIKE A LITTLE CANON BASIS. EVEN ONE LINE OF DIALOGUE WOULD BE AWESOME.
V.FUN

XDDDDDDDD

NO, SRSLY. IT'S SHIPPED JUST FOR THE SHIP NAME. GET ON THE GOOD SHIP AS/S, ARRR!
Yeah I know the twins omg so evil damn u Rowling

Hey I like the Ginny/Harry pairing in the canon. I was suspecting that Rowling might kill her but I dont really want her to die

But omg they killed Lupin and Tongs

and D: snape /.../
THAT was TRAGEDY.

But it's BORING. REALLY BORING. And it just suddenly appeared OUT OF THE BLUE in Book Six. That bugged me intensely. But J.K Rowling could never write romance.

Sadly, I felt sad for Lupin and Tonks. But yeah, didn't care. Tonks was cool in book 5. AFTER THAT I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED.

T____________________T
Unlike anime (where apparently you need at least 8 years where you let the feelings develop) romance in the real world is rather... fast paced. I don't count it as out of the blue.

One thing that I think you guys forget to mention is how Neville is awesome in this book.
Er, anime romances tend to develop pretty fast too, y'know. Very rarely do they take eight years or so. And please, real world romances always take a long time.

...Also, this is a fictional book.

Neville was awesome! Yes, I did forget to mention it. I FEEL HORRIBLE NOW.
