"Man, I really want to watch Star Trek... but I haven't seen Wolverine yet. Maybe I'll watch Star Trek first."

"ARE YOU KIDDING WOLVERINE IS SO MUCH BETTER OMG!!"

"... Uh...huh"

"Star Trek looks like it was made by a bunch of gays and a gay parade."

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN

THE FUTURE TEACHERS OF THE WORLD.

I.  I'm not a big Trekkie but fucking hell. I gave a nice brittle verbal retort to that statement but nnngh.

Also, I am undecided. Should I go see Star Trek or Wolverine first? THOUGHTS?

Well, I'm going with Toph and Hiruma (and hopefully Frau, I need to get in contact with her) SO I WILL DEFER TO THEIR WILL.

Or we will just... go around in circles before we come to a decision because that's how the singaporeborg rolls.
My decision was made for me |D;;;.

Me: So what movie are we going to see tomorrow?
Gf: I have free tickets to Mary and Max!
Me: Okay! Let's go see that!
Gf: Oh but wait it's only showing at 10AM tomorrow.
Me: Fuck that's too early. What else is on. Oh, Star Trek or Wolverine?
Gf: I've already see Wolverine.
Me: STAR TREK IT IS.

I really want to see Wolverine though because fuck Hugh Jackman is hot :(. I DON'T CARE WHAT DR COX SAYS. Then again, Star Trek has Eric Bana and Spocklar (the latter of which I certainly hope will be absolutely hilarious).

Also wtf @ those people :(.
My class is made of people my age and people who have kids of their own.

THIS WORRIES ME.

Luckily for me, my dad said whichever one we do go for on Saturday, he'll take up an offer to go see the one I didn't see.
...wow.

I've only seen Wolverine so far and I thought it was good! Star Trek I probably won't see until Tuesday, since that's when they have cheap tickets around here. But the reviews I've read of it say it's good?

I've not ever been a Trek fan, though I'll give the movie a go because my dad really loves Trek and, well, I like spaceship movies.
I vote Wolverine! I mean, GAMBIT. . . . That's the only reason I want to go watch it, actually. /useful
I think that entirely depends on what you expect out of Wolverine.

I KNOW ALL I EXPECT IS A SEXY GAMBIT. The rest is nil. And I'm quite okay spending money on it.
STAR TREK

I am biased because I am a Trekkie

BUT FUCK, THEY MASSACRED DEADPOOL, DON'T GIVE WOLVERINE YOUR MONEY

also hand out the bitchslaps for me
I still heard it was good fun! A lot of people who have good taste in movies enjoyed it! And I know it has nothing to do with comic-verse but I am strangely okay with that too.

And yeah, I kinda guessed your response.
I'd go see Star Trek first just for that. Oi, people.

... Then again, I'm not really planning on seeing either, sooo |D
STAR TREK STAR TREK STAR TREK STAR TREK STAR TREK

IT IS THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE CHOICE

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!!

Also, what the fuck. I think my eyeballs just exploded.
Wolverine is a TERRIBLE MOVIE. Fun anyway until the last 20 minutes or so, and then it just embraced its bad movie-ness.

Also Kirk is cooler than Gambit.
JUST. PRETEND THE GUY THEY CALL DEADPOOL ISN'T DEADPOOL.

AND. . . . YEAH. It's a fun movie! There is death and explosions and Gambit and slicing and dicing and naked men hopping over fences. If you're looking for like. QUALITY MOVIE DRAMAZ TIEMZ or another Dark Knight. . . well. No. But if you are looking for an action movie with script writing as good as an action movie's well! Yeah.

I admit I am a bigger wolverine fan than star trek fan in general, and I haven't seen star trek. But shouldn't you see the worse movie first so then it isn't a disappointment when you see the other one?
Star Trek. Observe where the term 'slash' originated from with the Kirk/Spock :D
WOLVERINE. It really depends on your expectations. Gambit was sexy, Hugh Jackson was still good as Logan and the Deadpool thing didn't bug me too much?
I'm not a Trekkie AT ALL, but Star Trek looks so much better than Wolverine! I'll probably end up seeing both, but I want to see Star Trek first.
DID I TELL YOU ABOUT THE COVER OF THE MAGAZINE I SAW ON THE PLANE WHEN I WENT TO VISIT padawan? One of the actors is going to dominate James Kirk, presumably the role, but. I almost choked.

I'm seeing Star Wars tonight and possibly mocking the shit out of it, lovingly. Wolverine matinee is probably next on my list.
Oh god my head. That person's speaking privileges should be forever revoked.
WOLVERINE IS FUCKING AMAZING and I expect Star Trek to be likewise.

Also I would have punched that person in the teeth.
WELL I WILL SEE BOTH. WITH JOY.

I wish I could have, but. Singapore is a bit stringent on violence.
LATE TO THE PARTY but Star Trek is INCREDIBLE. And I'm definitely biased, but it's just... an amazing, amazing movie. It met and exceeded every expectation I had for it.
