So I spent my day watching Trinity Blood.
Now cut for spoilers and ranting.
VASH = ABEL
TRINITY BLOOD = TRIGUN
All throughout I was going, "Oh my god, they ripped Trigun and added vampires to it"
It's true. Let me demonstrate.
Vash - twin (Knives), older sister (dead)
Abel - twin (Cain), younger sister (Seth)
Vash - My brother is insane *WOE*
Abel - My brother is insane *ANGER*
Knives - I'll make him suffer so much he'll be begging to me to get rid of the humans! *insert evil laughter here*
Cain - I want to merge with my brother because we are two halves and we'll be together forever! *...*
Vash - We lost count (from the dawn of man?)
Abel - Ditto (from the dawn of man?)
Vash - DORK
ABEL - DORK
Vash - Thou shalt not kill! *pacifistic*
Abel - Thou shalt not kill! *pacifistic*
Vash - OH YES
Abel - LET'S NOT GO THERE
8. ROLE MODEL
Vash - REM
Abel - Random female whose name isn't given at all. *D:*
Vash- Someone died and it's all my FAULT
Abel - *spends a good two whole episodes wallowing*
Pretty bad I would say.
The ending was okay...I didn't like it so much because there were too many plotholes in Abel's past. The one thing that really grabbed me (and happens at the end of the series too. >.>) was the Change between Cain and Abel.
ABEL used to hate humans. ABEL resented them the most. ABEL got into fights.
CAIN was the smiling guy by the side. I think what tipped him over was Abel's dream of the future.
Which proves the whole "I obsess over my twin" personality.
Abel is locked up in a white room and he's talking about how he hates humans and how they were experiments and guinea pigs used by them. Cain then says that he's happy to be alive no matter how he came to be. Cain continues to say they can make their own future.
Cain asks Abel what kind of future Abel wants. We don't hear Abel's answer.
but major plotholes. >.> I really disliked them.
Ion was a saving grace though. He reminds me of...I can't remember who exactly, but he reminds me of someone. Ion/Esther had the most intense relationship in the entire series and I was kind of disappointed that he never confessed his feelings when Esther left.
The Enforcers were cool. Tres had less screentime than I thought, but Hugue and Leon were kickass. And William had a flying car. :D
But yeah, the Rosenkreuz Orden reminded me a lot of Knives' Gun-Ho guns. >.> If you like Trigun, I recommend this to you (thought it might grate your nerves). If you haven't seen Trigun, then watch this. Abel is a dork andb we all love dorks don't we?
