I do know that the term "third world country" is considered correct in some parts of the world. I do know that I see it being used all the time. But have you ever considered that it is possibly the rudest, most inconsiderate thing you can say about another country? Probably not. My point is, if you're going to talk about a poor Asian/Middle Eastern/South American/etc country, please call us a "developing nation". That's the term I was taught and it's a term I've come to appreciate. Maybe in time, other people will consider it too.
